If you are a current employee, please navigate here to apply internally.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Sales Analytics Intern to assist in driving data-driven insights that support the growth of our sales analytics efforts. This role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with performance data, KPI dashboards, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Commercial Sales Analytics team to help measure and optimize campaigns, assisting in data analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations. The position is located in Milwaukee, WI.
As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:
- Networking Events - Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
- Coaching and Mentoring - You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
- Real Work Experience - Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.
Responsibilities- Able to strategically problem solve.
- Collect, analyze, and prepare data to support sales analysis
- Partner with team members to review, document, and improve current processes and procedures.
- Assist in developing new reports and dashboards that drive operational insights
- Ensure high quality data, and the integrity of data.
- Collaborate across teams: work with Wholesale Distribution, MRO and E-Commerce teams to ensure alignment on KPIs and data needs
Qualifications/Requirments- Currently pursuing a 2-year or 4-year degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, data science/analytics, engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Strong educational focus on business and technology interaction.
- Eager and willing to learn.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software including Outlook, Excel, and Word, PowerPoint. Experience with technical analytics software (SQL, Tableau) a plus
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments
- Able to work 40 hrs per week during the summer
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Candidates must be able to work in the Milwaukee, WI headquarters
