Description

Provide comprehensive legal advice and counsel to clients involved in family law cases such as divorce, time-sharing, and post-judgement cases
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including settlement agreements, parenting plans, and court pleadings
Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis to support case strategies
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations with professionalism and assertiveness
Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards and deadlines
Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving domestic violence
Stay current on evolving laws related to family law to provide accurate guidance

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state of Florida
At least one year experience handling family law cases with a strong understanding of divorce, child custody, alimony, and related issues
Exceptional research skills utilizing LexisNexis for case law and legal precedent analysis
Excellent writing skills for drafting pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and legal correspondence
Strong negotiation abilities to facilitate favorable settlements while advocating zealously for clients
Familiarity with litigation procedures and courtroom procedures specific to family law cases
Legal administrative experience including case management software and document organization
